It’s mostly good news for the real estate market in Georgia, according to the latest statistics out from the GA Association of REALTORS\u00ae.<\/h2>\n

Although listing inventory is slightly down, there are still plenty of good deals to be had.<\/p>\n
Under contract or “pending sales” are up 26.5%.\u00a0 That’s huge for sellers contemplating entering or re-entering the market!\u00a0 The average days on market until a sale are also down 16.7%.<\/p>\n
The Median Sales Price has increased by 30.5% & the Average Sales Price has increased 21.1% over May 2012!<\/p>\n
Right now there is a 4.9 months supply of inventory in the overall market.\u00a0 A stable market is typically considered to be a 6 months supply.\u00a0 These statistics favor a slight Seller’s Market at this time with more buyers competing for lower inventory.<\/p>\n
